Governance

Meet our
Founding Board

TVBC is governed by a founding board that brings together lived experience, academic expertise, international business leadership, and quantitative research, while ensuring strategic oversight, legal compliance, and financial accountability across every dimension of our work.

Governance Principles

How our board works

01

Strategic Oversight

The board meets regularly to review organizational progress, ensure alignment with our mission, and provide guidance on major decisions, without managing day-to-day operations.

02

Fiduciary Accountability

Board members review budgets, approve annual reports, and ensure every grant and donation is used exactly as promised, with full transparency to funders and the communities we serve.

03

Mission Stewardship

Each board member actively champions TVBC's mission in their own professional and social circles; helping grow the network, introduce funders, and open doors that advance community-led change.

Meet our
Advisory Board

The Founders Advisory Council is an elite body of subject matter experts who provide
outside-in strategic oversight for The Voices Behind Changes. While the Board of Directors manages legal and fiduciary duties, the Council serves as the organization's Strategic Shield, ensuring that our work remains academically rigorous, politically influential, and ethically rooted as we scale our initial pilot phases: the Community Voices Initiative and beyond.

This dual-layered structure ensures that TVBC is small enough to move fast, but big enough to think deep. By surrounding our founding team with world-class advisors, we provide funders and partners with the assurance of rigorous oversight and systemic relevance.
